We would definitely recommend Il Granino. Not only was the location of the property perfect for touring around Tuscany, the villa itself was absolutely beautiful and had some of the best views of Tuscany. The owners, Alberto and Sylvie did so much to make us very welcome - providing us with an olive oil cake when we arrived which was absolutely delicious and six eggs from their farm. They also grow olive trees on the farm and let us have a bottle of their own olive oil which was, by far, the best we've ever had!
The facilities of the villa were great - it was comfortable and homely and had everything we needed, including a dishwasher which was a welcome treat!
The road up to the villa is a little windy and you have to be very careful, but the views at the top are well worth it. Go for a walk along the side of the property and go higher and you'll get even better views!
