Il Villaggiolo is an outstanding villa. It is perfectly equipped and well suited for large families. The property is divided into three separate sections so retains its privacy. The huge private gardens and pool are beautiful. There are plenty of tables and chairs, ideal for outdoor dining. The views from the villa are breathtaking, surrounded by fields of sunflowers. The villa owner Pietro and his family are so friendly, kind and helpful. Although they do not live on-site Pietro attended most days to either clean the pool, empty outdoor bins or tend to his bees from his nearby hives. He was accessible without being overbearing. The villa's location is quite remote, being about 10 to 15 minutes drive from the nearest large town. However, a small supermarket and patisserie are within a five minutes drive. Like many Tuscan properties the villa does not have any air-conditioning, however there are plenty of fans in the property. A private winding driveway leads from the main road to the villa. Take care when entering the long driveway as the entrance way is narrow and located between a culvet. The biggest compliment we can give is that we would love to return to the villa and would recommend it unreservedly.
