We all have different ideas of what a "Tuscany Villa" should be. Mine was realized at Villa Il Doccio. We had 6 couples and the entire Villa. I absolutely loved the off the beaten path location and the family who hosted us. The first night "cook with the family" dinner was one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Italy -4 days at the Villa. The accommodations were wonderful and clean. The location was excellent - central to Florence, Cortona, Arezzo, Sienna, Montepulciano, Greve in Chianti, etc. When we come back to central Tuscany, we will stay here again. The Gren family gets 5 stars.

Cira 500 Meter vom Pool entfernt, allerdings bergauf. Zufahrt könnte verbessert werden.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] Beautiful, clean and spacious apartment. All 4 bedrooms with separate bathroom/toilet. However, they should consider to put screens on all the windows. Quiet location in a sprawling vineyard. Apporx. 500 meters away from the pool, but uphill. Access could be improved.

Lovely apartment with outstanding views from the terrace. Ceilings are low in places but a bumped head or two quickly taught us where to duck! Apartment nicely furnished, kitchen only real area where there could be improvement, but it was adequate for our needs. Pool area lovely. The location is convenient, Lucca is about 15-20 minutes by car with Pisa and Florence easily accessible too. There is a good supermarket about 1.5 miles away, close enough to walk to first thing in the morning before it gets too hot but uphill all the way back. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this place to family and friends. Only real downside is paying an additional €100 final cleaning bill, it seemed rather excessive.

Our joy, our astonisment and our excitement about this overwhelming life soothing property surpasses every felling we had anticipated.

None of the pictures you couls ever take of and from this place will match your live experience.

And the silence.
