The villa is beautiful. Deiter, the owner is a treasure. Villa Bertagni is in a beautiful part of Italy. It was great to explore a different direction each day and Deiter was the best tour guide. Please note instructions to stop at the store on the way in the first time. Make your purchases including toilet paper, shower supplies, etc. to get you settled in.

Thanks for Podere La Marronaia, especially for Sylvia & Luigi that proved to be welcoming hosts. They make you feel like old friends. First Europeen trip where equilibrium between activities, confort and quality of food was meet. I would definitively recommend Podere La Marronaia to all my friends in seach of a bit of delight under "The Tuscan sun" !

The house is wonderful, the swimming pool is a dream and always prepared perfectly.
We have three comments:
- the description of the way should be changed. The house isn't
named "casa gabriella" at the gate.
- the mosquitos got on our nerves, depending on daytime
- the garden is not for single-use. Every afternoon there is a man
looking after his garden. Therefore he has to walk nearby the pool
and he did it several times a day. Sometimes he met visitors in
his part of the garden.

[English translation courtesy of Easy Reserve] So fairly centrally situated to let us make trips through the whole Tuscany, great environment, nice pool with great view over the hills. The vegetation on all sides gives to each unit a certain intimacy and freshness in the evening! We were 4 adults and 3 children in a comfortable "podere" with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The only two flaws: a mini fridge not nearly enough for 6 people and a great difficulty to have access to the only washing machine in the house ...
